Ryan Vaile
Ryan Vaile is Managing Director of Marathon Financial Group, Inc., an NASD member investment banking firm specializing in alternative investments in the energy sector. Ryan is involved in raising capital and reviewing deals in both traditional fossil fuels and emerging energy sources, such as wind, solar and biofuels.
Prior to joining Marathon, Ryan spent seven years at Aon Corporation. As Vice President, Origination, he partnered with CEO/CFO-level decision makers in the Private Equity, Healthcare and Construction fields to identify risk and develop customized risk management strategies. While at Aon, Ryan also co-founded and chaired Aon I.n.c., a vital networking organization started in Chicago, and later rolled outto Aon’s large market offices nationally.
Leaving Aon for a position as Vice President, Sales at Icon Identity Solutions, Ryan assisted in an organizational restructuring, sale and redesign.
Ryan graduated from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and Management.
Ryan is an avid golfer and has competed in numerous USGA events, such as the United States Amateur and United States Mid-Amateur. He is also an active member of the community, previously sitting as a board member of Chicago’s chapter of St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, and Chairman of Northwestern Memorial’s Prentiss Women’s Hospital, Chicago Maternity Center Junior Board.
